Results of the Student Scientific Society of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with the Course of Medical Biology

On May 18, 2026, the final meeting of the Student Scientific Society of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with the Course of Medical Biology was held. During the academic year, four scientific groups actively functioned at the department: the Molecular Genetics Laboratory (supervised by Associate Professor Olha Obukhova), the Physiology Club (supervised by Assistant Professor Zoia Levchenko), the Mental Health Club (supervised by Professor Viktoriia Harbuzova), and the Young Biologists Workshop (supervised by Associate Professor Antonina Biesiedina).

During the meetings, students discussed current issues in modern medicine, biology, genetics, physiology, and mental health, presented scientifically grounded reports, analyzed recent research findings, and explored the latest scientific achievements. Special attention was paid to students’ research activities, including participation in scientific conferences, oral presentations, publication of abstracts, and articles in professional scientific journals.

At the final meeting, the most active and dedicated members of the Student Scientific Society were recognized.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, participants summarized the academic year, discussed prospects for further research, and outlined new directions for the Student Scientific Society. The event once again confirmed the important role of scientific activity in the professional development of future specialists.
