On April 30, a “Biology Quiz” was held at Municipal Secondary School No. 24 as part of the student–pupil association “Workshop of Young Biologists,” under the supervision of Antonina Biesiedina. The event brought together students from Municipal Secondary School No. 24 and Municipal Lyceum No. 33 in a friendly atmosphere. This educational and interactive activity was organized with the support of the adaptation and career guidance sector of the student self-government, headed by Bohdan Okhrimenko (student of MC.m-301).
A total of 12 participants competed for victory as part of two teams:
- “Bio-Impulse”– team of School No. 24
Motto: “Feel the rhythm of life, catch the wave of knowledge!” - “Scientific Pulse 33”– team of Lyceum No. 33
Motto: “Our pulse is science, our strength is the lyceum!”
The competition was evaluated by a competent jury:
Chair – Associate Professor of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with a course in Medical Biology at the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of Sumy State University, Antonina Biesiedina.
Jury members – biology teacher of School No. 24 Kyryl Osypko; biology teacher of Lyceum No. 33 Maryna Pavlenko; Associate Professor Tetiana Oleshko, Assistant Zoya Levchenko, Senior Researcher Tetiana Kryvonos (Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with a course in Medical Biology, SumDU), and third-year student Kateryna Zavhorodnia.
After an intense competition, the team “Scientific Pulse 33” won first place.
Captain – Ihor Pedchenko; team members – Karim Al-Shebli, Veronika Lukash, Oleksandra Lukash, Yana Pavliuchenko, Nazar Kidimienko.
Second place was awarded to the team “Bio-Impulse.”
Captain – Yeva Balym; team members – Danylo Zabara, Daria Pedenko, Yurii Saveliev, Polina Snitko, Artur Skrypchenko.
The quiz provided participants with an opportunity to test their knowledge, demonstrate ingenuity, logical thinking, and team spirit.
