The Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology took part in Sumy State University’s Open Day events focused on career guidance. On March 27, 2026, a meeting with high school students and students from various educational institutions in the city of Sumy and the region was held offline at the Palace of Student Sports of SumDU (38/1 Svobody Avenue, shelter). The event helped school students spark their interest and motivation for learning and make decisions about their future careers.
Zoya Levchenko, a teaching assistant of the department, together with second-year students Alona Liashko and Sofiia Pylypets (group MC.m-402), provided advice to prospective applicants on how to prepare for admission, study medical subjects, discover new opportunities, and achieve success in their future professional lives. Alona and Sofiia also shared their personal learning experiences.
Interactive activities were organized as well, including an experiment on determining blood groups and a quiz about human blood. Attendees received engaging information about the department’s strong scientific and educational potential. Visitors were also interested in learning more about student life at the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute.
We thank all participants for their active involvement and wish them continued success in their studies and the fulfillment of their future plans! We look forward to welcoming high school and college students as future students of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of SumDU.
