Аvicenna International Student Scientific Conference 2026

From June 1 to 10, 2026, the Avicenna International Student Scientific Conference 2026 (AISC-2026) was held at Avicenna Batumi Medical University. The conference was dedicated to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals in the fields of global health, health promotion, and disease prevention.

As part of the conference, active students of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute representing the I2 Medicine program presented their research at the international level. Anastasiia Protsenko (Group MC-502), Yelyzaveta Snizhko (Group MC-505), and Anna Kobyletska (Group MC.m-302) delivered oral presentations in English during the Public Health and Basic Medicine session:

  2. Yelyzaveta Snizhko– “The Role of Postnatal Macrosomia in the Development of Persistent Glucose Metabolism Disorders in Childhood”

  3. Anna Kobyletska– “The Enteric Nervous System: A Second Brain”
    Scientific Supervisor: Assistant Zoya Levchenko

The conference aimed to consolidate students’ knowledge, deepen their subject-specific understanding, and foster the development of practical and creative skills. It also encouraged students to conduct independent research, prepare scientific papers, and confidently present and defend their findings. Furthermore, the event inspired young researchers to pursue future scientific and academic activities.
