The key to successful education for medical students is the practice-oriented component. On March 18, as part of the Physiology course, second-year students visited the “Familia Medicus” clinic, where a practical session on the topic “ECG Registration and Analysis” was held. Together with practicing family doctor Yelyzaveta Stroy, students of the MC.m-301 group reviewed the main rules for ECG recording, practiced electrode placement, and ECG registration, and became familiar with the ECG analysis algorithm.
During the session, students had a unique opportunity to:
- Master the correct technique for placing electrodes
- Independently record electrocardiograms
- Practice ECG analysis using standard algorithms
- Communicate with real patients
- Get acquainted with clinical cases and patients’ electrocardiograms
- Draw conclusions about the patients’ cardiovascular system condition
This practical session format allows students not only to theoretically master the material but also to gain valuable hands-on experience in a real clinic environment under the guidance of an experienced specialist.
The department expresses sincere thanks to the “Familia Medicus” clinic for the warm welcome and professional support in training future doctors!
