One of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is Good Health and Well-being. The Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology is actively engaged in informing the university community about ways to support mental health. This is the goal of a series of webinars aimed at raising awareness among Sumy State University staff about essential steps toward lasting well-being.
On April 29, Professor Viktoriia Harbuzova delivered a webinar titled “Self-Regulation and Stress: How to Activate Your Inner Resources.”
Participants learned about the fundamental mechanisms of human physiological regulation, the causes and consequences of stress, and the Basic Ph system developed by Israeli psychologist Mooli Lahad for coping with stress, including its benefits and limitations. The webinar also introduced practical tools for stress management.
Let us remember: In difficult times, we do not rise to the level of our expectations—we fall to the level of our preparation!
Let’s nurture mental health together!
We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
