Pathophysiology Olympiad

At the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, the annual student competition was held among third-year students of the “Medicine” program – the Pathophysiology Olympiad, which brought together the best students of the discipline.

A total of 60 students took part in the event, demonstrating a high level of knowledge, clinical thinking, and the ability to creatively apply theoretical principles to solving practical problems.

The Olympiad consisted of two stages.
During the first stage, participants completed a computer-based test that included theoretical questions from the main sections of pathophysiology and consisted of 30 questions.

Based on the results of this stage, eight students who achieved 80% or more correct answers qualified to continue to the second stage.

The second stage involved completing a written assignment, where participants were required to provide detailed answers to situational problems.

According to the results of the Olympiad, the winners were:

1st place — Kateryna Zavhorodnia (MC.m-301)
2nd place — Bohdan Okhrimenko (MC.m-301)
      Anna Kobyletska (MC.m-302)
3rd place — Viktoriia Hannina (MC.m-304)
