Researchers from the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology—Yelizaveta STROY, Olha OBUKHOVA, and Viktoriia HARBUZOVA—participated in the International Scientific Conference “BioGENext,” held on September 17-20, 2024, in Kyiv. The conference was dedicated to the latest advancements in next-generation therapy development. “BioGENext Conference” is the first event in Ukraine to showcase cutting-edge global achievements and innovative technologies in the fields of biomedical research and biopharmaceutical development. During the conference, the results of the research from the Molecular Genetics Laboratory at Sumy State University, titled “Allelic variant frequency of the MALAT1 gene by rs619581 polymorphism in patients with transitional cell carcinoma of the bladder,” were presented. These results were published in the journal “Biopolymers and Cell” (Ukraine), which is indexed by the international Scopus database.
