On November 2, an open day was held at the SumDU Congress Center. Our department actively participated in this event. During the event, Zoya Mykhailivna Levchenko captivated visitors with an experiment on blood group identification. Students learned that blood type can reveal many fascinating facts about its owner. At the master class, schoolchildren enthusiastically listened to information about the composition and functions of blood and discovered the secrets of blood group inheritance, as well as conducting their own blood type tests.
This event helped stimulate students’ interest and motivation to study medical subjects, revealing new opportunities for them to achieve future success in their professional lives. Future applicants received tips on how to prepare for admission. Attendees also received information about the vast scientific and educational potential of the Medical Institute and our department, as well as the achievements of the department’s teaching staff.
