The Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology participated in the NN MI week activities dedicated to career guidance. On December 21, 2024, a meeting was held with high school students attending preparation courses for the NTME at SumDU. The event helped stimulate students’ interest and motivation for learning, as not all future applicants have fully decided on their prospective professions. During wartime, high school students may face an increased need to address basic life necessities, which can distract them from studying.
When a student has determined their future profession, their cognitive activity takes on a focused and persistent character. High school students find learning interesting, which evokes positive emotions and a desire to acquire a specific profession. Achievement motivation fosters love and enthusiasm for their future work and the learning process. Students show initiative and create a creative and exploratory atmosphere around themselves.
Zoya Mykhailivna Levchenko provided advice to prospective applicants on how to prepare for university admission, study medical-related subjects, and explore new opportunities to achieve success in their future professional lives. Attendees received engaging information about the substantial scientific and educational potential of the NN MI and the department, as well as the accomplishments of the department’s teaching staff. The students were intrigued to learn about student life at NN MI.
