On March 12, the lecture “THE BRAIN: INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE” by Professor, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Head of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology of Sumy State University Viktoriia HARBUZOVA was held.
Until recently, the event was in doubt. Due to the constant danger and air raid alarms, our guests had to move to the shelter of the “UniverCity” coworking space, but the lecture did not stop.
Together with Viktoriia HARBUZOVA, we figured out
– what brain structures are responsible for attention;
– how the body reacts to stress and how to overcome it;
– how to achieve balance in life and increase your productivity.
They also learned why feedback and feedforward are so important in a person’s life.
And to better understand yourself and your body during stressful situations, Viktoriia advises reading Robert SAPOLSKI’s book “Why Zebras Don’t Suffer from Ulcers”.
