The elective discipline Problem-based learning in physiology is taught at the department with the involvement of specialist doctors. For example, one of the cases was studied together with ophthalmologist Pavlo Yuriiovych Shkatula.
In the vision centre, where the meeting and training took place, the students were shown modern methods of visual acuity testing, eye pressure measurement, ophthalmoscopy and how to perform eye tomography. All diagnostic methods are carried out using modern equipment.
