On February 11, the international community celebrates the International Day of Women and Girls in Science – a day established by the United Nations to highlight the contributions of women to scientific achievements and to promote gender equality in the scientific field.
At the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with a course in Medical Biology, a supportive environment has been created to foster the professional growth of women in science. Special attention is given to ensuring equal opportunities for researchers at all levels – from students to experienced scientists who aspire to develop their careers within the academic community.
