On March 18, 2026, an interactive workshop titled “Hidden Superpowers of the Brain” was held at Sumy State University. The event was conducted by Associate Professor Olha Obukhova and brought together students, school pupils, and residents of the city around the topic of developing cognitive skills and understanding the capabilities of the human brain.
Participants engaged in practical exercises focused on attention, memory, and thinking, took part in false memory experiments, cognitive games, and discussions that helped them better understand their own behavioral and thinking patterns. The interactive format not only facilitated the acquisition of new knowledge but also promoted the development of critical thinking and self-reflection skills.
The workshop also contributed to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly by promoting quality education, supporting mental health and well-being, expanding access to educational opportunities for diverse groups, and fostering partnerships within the educational community.
