Essay Contest: “Multitasking: Myth or Reality from the Perspective of Neuroscience?”

As part of Brain Awareness Week, held from March 10 to 14, 2025, at Sumy State University, our department, together with the Medical Institute Library, traditionally organized an essay contest on the topic:
“Multitasking: Myth or Reality from a Neuroscience Perspective?”

The contest aimed to engage young intellectuals in neuroscience research.

A total of 11 essays were submitted by 1st to 4th-year students of the Educational and Research Medical Institute (NN MI). The jury was impressed by the originality of the participants’ work and their perspective on the topic. The students adhered to the essay formatting requirements and conducted an in-depth review of scientific literature and publications.

On Monday, March 17, the contest winners were awarded:

1st place – Kusovnyk Iryna, 2nd-year student, group MC.m-305

2nd place – Kobyletska Anna, 2nd-year student, group MC.m-302

3rd place – Starostenko Ihor, 3rd-year student, group MC.m-215

Keep it up! We are confident that this contest will become a tradition, and the number of students interested in neuroscience will continue to grow.

See you next year!
