On October 29, 2025, Department Assistant Zoya Levchenko attended the webinar “The New Version of the SumDU Repository 8.0: Everything You Need to Know”, conducted by Inna Piltyai, Chief Librarian of the Information and Analytical Work and Electronic Resources Department.
Zoya Levchenko familiarized herself with the features of the Institutional Repository, whose software was recently updated. The repository received a completely new interface and a range of additional features. It was interesting to refresh knowledge about the types of materials that depositors can independently upload to the repository, as well as to explore its search capabilities and new functionalities.
Special attention was given to the process of adding a new work to the repository, particularly the correct entry of metadata. Ms. Inna provided a clear demonstration of how to fill in document metadata fields and shared useful tips to simplify this process.
