As a result of military actions, Ukrainian children are experiencing psychological trauma, which undoubtedly affects their lives, education, and future development. Currently, a significant number of children are in a state of chronic fatigue, anxiety, and other psychologically challenging conditions, which form the basis of neuropsychological exhaustion. The issue of creating a safe and healthy educational environment occupies an important place at the state level.
These topics were highlighted by Associate Professor Antonina BIESIEDINA during the event “Health-Preserving Environment in Modern Educational Conditions” for 11th-grade students of the Classical Gymnasium and Municipal Lyceum No. 33 of the Sumy City Council. The event took place in the first half of January and was aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal No. 3 – ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all at all ages.
During the event, students engaged in interesting activities that helped them realize the importance of leading a healthy lifestyle and increased their interest in physical education and sports.
The event was aimed at raising students’ awareness of healthy living and health-preserving competencies, as well as creating a safe and healthy educational environment using health-preserving technologies. These efforts contribute to maintaining psychological well-being and strengthening the physical health of learners.
