October has been a productive month for communication with students and teachers of the Sumy Professional Medical College in an in-person format.
On October 16, 2025, a meeting was held with fourth-year students who are studying to become paramedics. The lecturers of the department consider it appropriate to organize meetings with future paramedics to introduce them to the opportunities of continuing their education at the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of Sumy State University (SumDU), once they have obtained a basic medical education.
Participants had the opportunity to meet the lecturers and receive answers to questions that interested them.<\/p>

Antonina Biesiedina<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0and Zoia Levchenko<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0not only introduced the audience to our department, academic disciplines, scientific research, and the work of student scientific circles, but also conducted interactive activities: a presentation about our department and its achievements, an introduction to microscope slides, a visit to the Museum of Medical Biology, a quiz about human blood, and an experiment on determining blood groups. The most active students of the medical college received prizes.<\/p>

Students of the Medical College shared their impressions of the visit:<\/p>

\u201cIt was very useful and interesting. I have already made my decision about my future profession \u2014 I wanted to test my professional abilities and knowledge, and the result pleased me,\u201d said Veronika<\/b><\/strong>, a fourth-year student of the Sumy Professional Medical College.<\/p>

\u201cI have already chosen the specialty I want to apply for, but I listened with great interest to the presentation about the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of SumDU. The impressions from the event are very positive. You can feel that true professionals work at the department,\u201d emphasized prospective student Stanislava<\/b><\/strong>.<\/p>

The meeting took place in a pleasant, friendly atmosphere.
The excursion to the department gave each participant an opportunity to take a glimpse into the world of modern education, meet the lecturers, and make another step toward a well-informed choice of profession. Cooperation continues \u2014 we look forward to welcoming the students of the medical college as future students of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of SumDU.<\/p>
