October is a month of close cooperation with students and lecturers of the Sumy Professional Medical College. A meeting was held on October 9, 2025, with students pursuing the profession of a feldsher.<\/p>

A feldsher<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0is a highly educated medical professional with basic medical training who possesses modern medical knowledge. This specialist of a new generation is capable of independently performing competent diagnostics and providing all necessary pre-medical care. Therefore, meetings with future feldshers are quite appropriate, as they allow introducing them to the opportunities of continuing their studies at the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of Sumy State University (SumDU) while already having a basic medical education.<\/p>

Antonina<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>Biesiedina<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0<\/b><\/strong>and Zoya Levchenko<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0introduced the participants to our department, academic disciplines, scientific research, and the work of the department\u2019s student scientific circles. Interactive activities were also conducted: an experiment on blood type determination, a quiz about human blood, an introduction to microscopic specimens, and a visit to the Museum of Medical Biology.<\/p>

The purpose of these interactive sessions was not only to assess knowledge but also to encourage participants to engage creatively and intellectually in the learning process. The most active students of the medical college received prizes.<\/p>

Collaboration continues, and we look forward to welcoming medical college students as future students of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of SumDU.<\/p>
