At the beginning of October, our department once again welcomed 2nd- and 3rd-year students from the Sumy Professional Medical College. The meeting took place on October 2, 2025, with students studying to become paramedics and nurses. The modern world of professions has become more diverse, offering a wider range of career opportunities related to medicine. We continue our close cooperation with the Sumy Medical College.<\/p>

Experience shows that a well-organized meeting with a professional leaves a deep impression on students and enhances their cognitive activity. It is important not only to talk about the socio-economic significance of the profession but also to highlight the factors that contribute to professional success.<\/p>

Antonina Biesiedina<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0introduced the guests to the history of the department, its academic disciplines, scientific research, and the work of student scientific circles. An engaging part of the visit was the interaction in the Medical Biology Classroom Museum, where students had the opportunity to see many fascinating exhibits and ask questions.<\/p>

The students were also interested in examining microscopic specimens under modern microscopes.
Zoya Levchenko<\/b><\/strong>\u00a0invited the participants to recall their knowledge about human blood groups through a quiz. The quiz was a competition involving oral and written questions on the topic \u201cBlood.\u201d<\/i><\/em>\u00a0The goal of the game was not only to test knowledge but also to encourage creativity and learning, helping participants better retain information. The quiz winners received prizes.<\/p>

A particularly exciting moment was the experiment on determining blood groups according to the ABO system. The students took part in it with great enthusiasm.<\/p>

This event became a wonderful example of cooperation between the college and the institute, demonstrating that through joint efforts we can shape a conscious generation of professionals. We look forward to welcoming the medical college students as future students of the Educational and Scientific Medical Institute of Sumy State University.<\/p>
