The first meeting of the Student Scientific Club of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with Fundamentals of Medical Biology in the current academic year took place on September 24, 2025, with the participation of the department\u2019s academic and teaching staff as well as higher education students. Traditionally, this first meeting of the new academic year was conducted by the Head of the Department, Professor V.Yu. Harbuzova, who delivered a presentation on \u201cOrganizational Aspects of Conducting Scientific Work with Students.\u201d<\/p>

Professor Viktoriia Yuriivna outlined the main directions of student research activities for the new academic year and presented the club\u2019s work plan, answering all students\u2019 questions. This year, our Student Scientific Society will operate in three areas: \u201cMental Health Club\u201d (headed by V.Yu. Harbuzova), \u201cMolecular Genetic Laboratory\u201d (headed by O.A. Obukhova), and \u201cPhysiology Club\u201d (headed by Z.M. Levchenko). Each coordinator also introduced students to the work plan for their respective area for the academic year.<\/p>

The department offers students various forms of participation:\u00a0listening to other students\u2019 reports, preparing their own presentations, conducting research, participating in the All-Ukrainian Student Paper Competition, attending conferences, writing abstracts and articles, taking part in the scientific conference \u201cFirst Step into Science,\u201d as well as participating in Brain Ring and Debate Tournament events, and opportunities for academic mobility abroad.<\/p>

As is well known, great things begin with small steps \u2014 and science is no exception. Our Student Scientific Society brings together young, determined students and fosters a creative research environment through the implementation of your successful projects, support of new scientific ideas, innovations, and knowledge exchange in the fields of physiology, pathological physiology, molecular biology, and neurophysiology. You are successful, determined, and talented.<\/p>

Perhaps some of you still doubt yourselves? We are here to help and teach you how to properly prepare and deliver presentations at club meetings based on your research.<\/p>
