The event was supervised by Associate Professor Olga Obukhova of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology with a Course in Medical Biology.<\/p><p>During the event, students presented substantive reports covering current issues in nephrology and urology, including:<\/p><ul><li>kidney failure and its pathogenesis,<\/li><li>urolithiasis and mechanisms of stone formation,<\/li><li>modern approaches to hemodialysis,<\/li><li>acute renal failure,<\/li><li>prevention of kidney diseases,<\/li><li>morpho-physiological characteristics of the kidneys,<\/li><li>transplantation and its ethical aspects,<\/li><li>the impact of nutrition and lifestyle on kidney function.<\/li><\/ul><p>The discussion of these topics allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the pathogenetic mechanisms of kidney diseases, as well as modern methods of diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. Participants paid particular attention to the connection between research results and the <strong><b>Sustainable Development Goals<\/b><\/strong>, emphasizing the importance of promoting health and well-being, implementing innovations in medicine and biotechnology, fostering high-quality education, and supporting the scientific activity of students.<\/p><p>The event demonstrated that involving students in research projects contributes to the development of professional competencies, critical thinking, and motivation for further studies in medicine and
