Today, participants of the Second Biological School had a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of science by visiting the chemical and toxicological laboratory under the guidance of Tetiana OLESHKO, an assistant at the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology. This event was dedicated to studying one of the most vital components of human life\u2014water, which makes up more than 70% of an adult’s body. Water facilitates metabolism, regulates body temperature, and serves as the foundation for many physiological processes.<\/p>

During the event, each participant had the chance to act as an environmental inspector, analyzing drinking water, determining the concentration of chemical substances and pollutants. They examined the sanitary and epidemiological indicators of water, discovering a new level of responsibility for the environment. The process included conducting experiments that inspired everyone to learn more about scientific approaches to ensuring quality of life.<\/p>
