The event was led by Associate Professor of the Department of Physiology and Pathophysiology, Olha Obukhova.<\/p><p>During the workshop, participants explored the peculiarities of human perception and the mechanisms the brain uses to construct our view of the world. Key topics included: How does perception work? Why do we see illusions? How does the brain process sensory information? Why does our consciousness sometimes distort reality?<\/p><p>Participants were introduced to well-known optical and cognitive illusions, such as the M\u00fcller-Lyer illusion, the Thatcher effect, and pareidolia, among others.<\/p><p>The workshop attracted students, faculty, and all those interested in the functioning of the human brain. Attendees had a unique opportunity to expand their knowledge and understand how our reality is shaped through the lens of neurophysiology and psychology.<\/p><p>This event provided an excellent opportunity to develop critical thinking and gain a deeper awareness of how the mind works.
