He informed the attendees about ESMI\u2019s inclusion in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings for &#8220;Medicine and Health Sciences,&#8221; securing a position of 601\u2013800 globally and ranking 1st in Ukraine.<\/p><p>Throughout the year, the institute successfully implemented domestic and international grants, further developed the <em><i>Eastern Ukrainian Medical Journal<\/i><\/em>, which achieved Category A status by the end of 2024. A milestone event not only for the institute but for the entire university was the success of students specializing in &#8220;Physical Education and Sports&#8221; at the Winter World University Games. Bohdan Borkovskyi and Serhii Suprun won a total of three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal\u2014Sumy State University\u2019s best result in the history of university games.<\/p><p>Particular attention was given to key tasks for 2025, including:<\/p><ul><li>Conducting career guidance activities across the country to attract domestic students to all educational programs,<\/li><li>Establishing an educational hub for international students in one of Ukraine\u2019s safe regions,<\/li><li>Licensing the &#8220;Nursing&#8221; (bachelor\u2019s) program,<\/li><li>Accrediting both bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s programs in &#8220;Physical Education and Sports,&#8221;<\/li><li>Participating in a pilot project on dual education in the &#8220;Therapy and Rehabilitation&#8221; specialization,<\/li><li>Increasing the citation rate of articles published in the <em><i>Eastern Ukrainian Medical Journal<\/i><\/em>,<\/li><li>Expanding virtual mobility opportunities for students, including through COIL technology,<\/li><li>Securing grant funding and support from charitable organizations for the development of a simulation technology center,<\/li><li>Equipping a protective shelter (PDU) in the ESMI academic building.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
