Modern problems of molecular biology
General information
The "Modern problems of molecular biology" course is taught students in the 2nd semester.
"Modern problems of molecular biology" as elective course:
- is based on subjects that are previously studied by students, such as biology and medical histology;
- provides a high level of general biological training;
- provides output level of knowledge for such subjects: normal anatomy, histology, bioorganic and biological chemistry, microbiology, pathological physiology, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, infectious diseases.
The main components of the course: molecular basis of heredity and mechanisms of hereditary diseases, modern achievmenets of gene technology.
Final test questions for the course "Modern problems of molecular biology" are taken from the database for license examination "Step 1" (see here).
